Robin Parks, wife and mother of 4 to Gerry, Caitlyn, Zachary, and Santana, works full-time at SMUD as an Office Technician. Her second child, Caitlyn, was born with Down Syndrome on October 13, 1992. She was a healthy baby which allowed her to advance to her full potential. She now attends the ninth grade ILS at Monterey Trails High School in Elk Grove. Robin has supported the Sacramento Area Down Syndrome Association parent support group, volunteered as a parent support contact for the Warmline Family Resource Center, and now is looking forward in providing support to families and individuals in need of services by being a Board member at SAR. |
